EXHIBIT K
JUBILEE VENTURE LLC
EAGLE MINE PROJECT
CLIMATE
The Eagle Mine Project will be a seasonal operation due to the climate at Sec. 2, T. 10 N, R 92
W, 6th PM. Although there may be some variation in operating schedules because of early
springs or late falls or winters, it is likely that operations will be restricted to May through
October of any operating year (essentially 180 days). There is climate information from RAWS
(remotely accessed weather station) at Great Divide, a former mining town which is now a
housing development about 7 to 8 miles west and south of the Eagle Mine site. This
information was compiled on a daily basis and was available on a NOAA website. However, the
last check with the website showed the information had been curtailed. It is not know if it will
be once again activated.
The major information to be derived from this source was evaporation rates. Such rates are
available from data published by the National Weather Service and were incorporated into the
water management plan attached to the Water Well Application as incorporated in Schedule G.
Ta (.- )
