-5 <br />When this mine site is near its termination, it may be that another area may be applied for for <br />further or continued mining. In such case, the water well and other mine plant equipment and <br />structures may be used just where they are to serve the further operations. Whenever the <br />mining and processing come to a conclusion, the plant will be disassembled and removed along <br />with all the auxiliary equipment and the mobile equipment once the reclamation is done. The <br />reclamation will be to the same standards as the mine area reclamation. <br />If more distant areas are mined, the plant and equipment can be moved to that location but <br />probably the water well will remain in use and the water piped from it to the new location. As a <br />final closure action, the water well will be conveyed to the BLM. <br />The reclamation plan is aimed at restoring the mined surface very nearly, if not completely, to <br />its original surface contours. This ground is so level that erosion should not cause any scouring <br />or even be a factor. This ground is so permeable that water runoff is unlikely. <br />The mineral exploration on this site was done with a hand auger and a gold pan so there are not <br />remnant features to be separately reclaimed from the mine reclamation. The auger holes are <br />essentially only as deep as the ore body so they will be included in the mine reclamation. They <br />are only 2 to 3 inches in diameter. <br />When reclamation is completed, the mine site should be essentially restored to its original <br />contours and vegetation and it should serve its original rangeland function to the same extent as <br />the undisturbed land next to it. <br />We'll just have to see what post-closure management will need to be but right now it doesn't <br />look like anything will be required. <br />There are no bodies of water on Section 2 or any of the adjoining sections. <br />?S 2--Z
