In previous years, voucher specimens were collected and confirmed or <br />identified by Dr. William A. Weber, retired Curator of the University of Colorado <br />herbarium. Nomenclature follows Dr. Weber's book Colorado Flora: Western <br />Slope; 1987; Colorado Associated University Press, Boulder, Co. Plant species <br />that were encountered during cover sampling are listed in Table 2 of the Appendix. <br />No new or unusual species were encountered in 1996 - and therefore no new <br />voucher specimens were collected. <br />The calculation of sample adequacy for cover samples followed methods <br />outlined on pages 20 and 21 of the CDMG Bond Release Guidelines. No <br />statistical comparison was required for production because the reclaimed <br />community average exceeded 90% of the corresponding success standards. <br />However, hypothesis testing was required for the cover evaluation. Page 22 of the <br />Guidelines outlines the statistical methods used in this study for hypothesis testing. <br />6
