<br />Sage Creek Coal Company, LLC. (SCCC), 36600
<br />Routt County Rd. #27 Hayden, CO. 81639, has sub-
<br />mitted an application for Technical Revision JR) of
<br />the Peabody Sage Creek Mine, Permit Number
<br />C-2009-067. The revision oo-11dresses mod-
<br />plan.
<br />ifications to the hydrology
<br />The mine permit area, encompassing approximately
<br />10,164 acres, is located approximately nine miles
<br />south of the Town of Hayden, Colorado, off Routt
<br />County Road 27. The mine permit area is covered
<br />by the Milner, Mount Harris, Rattlesnake Butte, and
<br />Dunckley USGS 7.5 minute quadrangle maps. The
<br />general legal description for lands affected by the
<br />Mine Permit Application Package (PAP) are located in
<br />Township 5 North, Range 87 West, 1all or p? i15s1o
<br />Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 51 81 9110, 11,
<br />21, and 22; and Township 6 North, Range 87 West,
<br />3
<br />all or portions of Sections 27, 28, 29, 32, 3, 34, 35,
<br />and 36.
<br />The permit term is for five (5) years. Affects com-
<br />prise only a small portion of the entire permit area.
<br />Surface and coal ownership within the proposed per-
<br />mit area include Sage Creek Holdings, LLC; the State
<br />of Colorado; and the U.S. Department of Interior
<br />(Bureau of Land Management). The ownership, pre-
<br />cise location, and boundaries of lands within the per-
<br />mit area are identified in section 2.03, and on Map
<br />2.03-M1, of the PAP, and are included in this public
<br />notice by reference.
