Asquith, PE Principal CTLITHOMPSON Subject: Ground Water Monitoring Plan Goose Haven Reservoir Complex Expansion Goose Haven Reservoir No. 2 Lafayette, Colorado CTL T Project No. FC04797.004 -145 L1 • McLaughlin Water Engineers: The State of Colorado, Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety in their letter to McLaughlin Water Engineers, Ltd. dated March 9, 2011 concurred with the findings in our Ground Water Response Study letter dated February 28, 2011 for the Goose Haven Reservoir Complex Expansion. In their March 9 letter the Division requested the "Applicant" submit a "groundwater monitoring plan." The Division writes a part of this plan "should include the location of monitoring stations" in addition to several other elements. In June 2009 (CTL I Thompson letter dated June 9, 2009, CTL I T Project No.: FC04797.000-145 L1) we installed seven (7) piezometers at locations agreed upon by the City of Lafayette, McLaughlin Water Engineers, Ltd. and CTL I Thompson, Inc. As requested, we have gathered the information from our files and reports for the project regarding the seven-piezometer network.
