6.4.10(a) <br />Revised 1/27/2011 <br />DRMS Quest 18 <br />• <br />• <br />EXHIBIT "J" <br />6.4.10 Vegetation Information: <br />(NOTE: The Noxious Weed Control Plan is in Appendix IV.) <br />(a) Description of the present vegetation: The present vegetation at the site is some native <br />and seeded grasses and mainly alfalfa (Cropland). <br />THE NATIVE GRASSES ARE PRIMARILY WESTERN WHEATGRASS, BLUE GRAMA, BUFFALO GRASS, RED <br />THREE AWN AND SAND DROPSEED. <br />(b) Describe the relationship of the present vegetation to the soils: There is no direct <br />relationship between the present vegetation and the site soils. The site is agricultural land <br />presently growing alfalfa and also includes an existing developed water resource facility. <br />(c) Estimate of site plant production for croplands or rangelands: The present use of the <br />site is leased land for the production of alfalfa and developed water resource, both owned by the <br />City of Lafayette. The site will be returned to a developed water resource. Therefore this <br />requirement is not applicable. <br />0
