Also, BLMC will require the drilling contractor to install impermeable tarps or other barrier around fluid <br />mixing and storage equipment on the drill rig. <br />Topsoil and Reclamation <br />All top soil from disturbed areas will be saved for reclamation purposes. However, please note that the <br />area of investigation has very little true topsoil. The "A" soil layer is mostly rocky colluvium. Limited <br />observations on the soil profile indicate that the "B" horizon is sporadically developed in wooded areas <br />and may be 3-5 inches thick. At this point it is almost impossible to estimate a volume of additional top <br />soil that may be required for reclamation purposes.
