The ground was very wet. The complete coal inspection entailed observation of the site <br /> with Don MacDonald, and a records check. <br /> AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS—Rule 5.02.4(1): <br /> Records were in order-see list below. <br /> HYDROLOGIC BALANCE-Rule 4.05: <br /> CEC records indicated that there had been 1.55 inches of rain the day before the inspection, and the rain was light <br /> to moderate the day of the inspection. Standing water was observed in Sediment Pond 2 and the Dugout Pond. <br /> Neither pond was discharging. No problems were observed with the two ponds. <br /> No water was flowing in the ditch along the northern boundary,which drains into Sediment Pond 2. <br /> ROADS—Rule 4.03: <br /> The road between Sediment Pond 2 and Topsoil Pile B-1 was observed during the inspection. Despite being very <br /> wet(the ditch along the road was almost full near the pond),no compliance issues were identified. <br /> RECLAMATION SUCCESS -Rule 4.15, Rule 3: <br /> Much of the site was viewed from afar(from the top of Topsoil Pile B-1). No compliance issues were identified. <br /> SUPPORT FACILITIES -Rule 4.04: <br /> Observations during the inspection indicated that the facilities, including the shop and yard,are in good shape. <br /> Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 7 <br /> Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 4 <br /> Page 2 of 6 <br />
