11830-4 <br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br />Seneca Coal Company LLC, 37796 CR 53, Hayden, <br />CO 81639, (CDMG Permit No. C-1980-005, ap- <br />proved September 23, 1981) is requesting release of <br />Phase 11 bond liability on 219.7 acres of its reclaimed <br />lands at the Seneca II Mine. A surety bond in the <br />amount .of $651,869 is currently in place and <br />$203,319 is being requested for release. Those por- <br />tions of the Permit area for which'-Phaseyl-bond re- <br />lease is requested were revegetated from the begin <br />ning of mining through 2005 in accordance with the <br />Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety <br />(CDRMS) rules and regulations. <br />The. Seneca II Mine Is located approximately nine (9) <br />miles southeast of Hayden, Colorado. Harris contain the described affected area. A <br />COPY of.the bond release application is available for <br />public inspection at the Hayden Public Library Writ- <br />ten E. Jefferson Avenue, Hayden, Colorado 81639.
