SARA RAY SILVER MINING, LLC
Kevin Lawrence
127 Elm Street
Leadville, CO 80461
April 30, 2011
Park County Board of County Commissioners
Commissioner John Tighe
Commissioner Dick Hodges
Commissioner Mark Dowaliby
P. O. Box 1373
Fairplay, CO 80440
Re: NOI for Sara Ray Silver Mining (aka Ajax and Ibex mining claims)
Dear Board of Commissioners:
In accordance with the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining & Safety Hardrock Rule
5.1.2(m), we have been asked to send this notice to the Park County Board of County
Commissioners.
Sara Ray Silver Mining has acquired the Ajax No. 1 and No. 7, and Ibex claims located in the
Buckskin Gulch area from Mr. James Maulding. Mr. Maulding prospected these claims from
1978 through 2010.
Sara Ray Silver Mining has completed and filed a plan of operations, permits, and bonds with the
appropriate State and Federal agencies, including the Alma Water District. The company has not
made any changes to Mr. Maulding's plan of operations and will continue to prospect the claims
this summer in a similar manner in which Mr. Maulding has prospected these claims since 1978.
It is our hope to be able to increasingly expand operations over the next two seasons, which
would include the hiring of between five and seven local county residents.
The non-confidential information regarding our prospecting activities will be available for
review on the website of the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining & Safety.
Please feel free to call me on (720) 514-1248 with any questions that you might have.
Sincerely,
Kevin Lawrence
