The present 112 Mining Permit calls for seeding of existing piles but due to the
and conditions of the site, it would be more desirable to use a biodegradable stabilization product
to reduce wind erosion from the pile. '
In response to your inspection report dated April 7, 2011, United Companies will reslope the
near vertical faces of the pile prior to chemical stabilization.
Attached is a check for the Technical Revision fee for Permit No. M-2005-075. If you have
any questions or concerns regarding this request, do not hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,
/ '/-' X4
Peter M. Kearl
Resource/Environmental Manager
