If no requests for an adjudicatory hearing are received by May 23, 2011,
the decision will be final.
Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4); Surfacing and Maintenance4.03.1(5) and (6)/4.03.2(5) and (6);
Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7):
It appeared that rain had fallen across the permit area the previous night, resulting in slippery
road conditions. The haul road was passable along the western side of Mining Area No. 1,
but access to the reclaimed Pond A; Pond B; and Mining Area No. 3 was not attempted due
to the imminent arrival of a new storm cell.
REVEGETATION — Rule 4.15
Vegetative Cover; Timing:
0 New spring growth of various grasses was observed within the Mining Area No. I reclaimed
area.
The four-wing saltbush appeared somewhat distressed, with few leaves remaining, as it did
early in 2010. The recent winter experienced frequent below-average temperatures, which
may be a contributing factor.
® Cattle were grazing on the property adjacent to the reclaimed areas, but did not appear to
have gone inside Area No. 1, even though a segment of fence remained down.
Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 7
Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 3 Page 2 of 3
