April 14, 2011 C- 1981 - 022 /Elk Creek Mine MPB <br />SUPPORT FACILITIES - Rule 4.04: <br />The reclaimed Sanborn Creek portals and the Sanborn Creek fan site were inspected. The Sanborn Creek fan site <br />is the proposed location for a Vessels Coal Gas Inc. methane gas borehole. The borehole will be used to recover <br />methane from the abandoned and sealed Sanborn creek Mine workings. The Division has received Technical <br />Revision No. 70 for the installation of the methane gas borehole. To accomplish this, Vessels is also permitting <br />with CGOCC for a the new gas borehole to be located near the present Sanborn Creek fansite utility borehole (see <br />attached Photograph No. 2).
