Containment and control of stormwater: The Mining Company commits to the containment and <br />control of stormwater. An application for a stormwater permit was completed and the <br />stormwater plan relies upon best management practices outlined within available BLM/USFS <br />guidance. <br />2. Containment and control of materials and fluids: The Mining Company commits to containing <br />and controlling all fluids and materials so that there will be no release to the surface. <br />3. Isolation of mineralized prospecting materials and fluids from Sneffels Creek: The Mining <br />Company commits to keeping all materials and fluids from making contact with any flows <br />associated with the Sneffels Creek drainage. <br />4. Isolation of mineralized materials and fluids from degrading mine discharges: The Mining <br />Company commits to conducting prospecting operations in a manner that does not further <br />degrade the existing discharge. The discharge will be monitored to assure compliance. <br />General commitments to install all appropriate best management practices or containment efforts in <br />order to control all the sources identified above. As mentioned previously, The Mining Company has <br />already documented a stormwater plan in compliance with Federal agency standards and has submitted <br />a request to the Colorado Department of Public Health and the Environment (CDPHE) for a permit. In <br />addition, The Mining Company commits to all necessary monitoring required by DRMS for baseline <br />monitoring and by CDPHE for the Colorado Discharge Permit System (CDPS permit). All permits and <br />monitoring records associated with these permits will be provided (copies) to DRMS. <br />Correspondence to meet USFS continues. All information shared between The Mining Company and the <br />USFS will be provided to DRMS. The Mining Company commits to addressing all USFS needs. <br />r--I <br />Page 2 - The Mining Company has registered the business with the Colorado Secretary of State to obtain <br />CZ <br />a certificate of good standing.
