Pineda
Director
P-2011-002, NOI is Approved, and Reclamation Cost
The technical responses you provided to DRMS and USFS to address the technical issues raised to-date appear to
satisfy the NOI requirements of this agency. All deficient items have been addressed adequately. The NOI has
therefore been approved.
The enclosed packet contains the reclamation cost figures associated with the project. The bond amount has been
estimated to be $6,377. Please review the task sheets and contact me promptly if you notice any errors or omissions.
You must provide the bond on one of the forms approved for Hard Rock/Metal Prospecting NOIs, available on our
website: www.mininiz.state.co.us/. The bond documents should be sent to the Division's Denver office, see
letterhead above. Please be reminded that no prospecting activity may begin until the Division has accepted the
bond.
Since this project is located on USFS-managed land, you must still obtain approval from USFS. If USFS places any
requirements on this project that differ from those approved to-date, please contact this office so that the NOI may be
modified and the bond amount reviewed.
Thank you for regularly forwarding copies of correspondence with the US Forest Service. We would appreciate
continued forwarding of such correspondence to the Division.
Please contact me at the Division's Durango Field Office if you have any questions: 691 CR 233, Room A-2,
Durango, CO 81301.
