Permittee Name: Lincoln County
Permit Number: M-1978-080
Operation Name: Elmer Stone Gravel Pit
Anniversary Date: April 7, 2011
Annual Report: The Elmer Stone Gravel Pit was used in the production of sand/gravel
in 2011. Approximately 7,800 cubic yards were produced. Lincoln County Pits are used
less than 180 days per year. No reclamation took place in 2011. A Technical Revision
concerning the control of noxious weeds was submitted in 2010 and approved. The
county continues to make two inspections per ear to monitor conditions in the pit. The
weed control officer also inspects each pit to spray for any weeds on the Colorado
noxious weed list. A revised pit map is enclosed that shows the mined area.
