Nix Sand and Gravel Annual Report - 2011 <br />Permit No: M-2001-046 <br />April 22, 2011 <br />Introduction <br />Due to the construction economy in the Northern Colorado Front Range, no mining <br />or reclamation activity occurred on the Nix Sand and Gravel Mine site in the current <br />reporting year; indeed, sand and gravel mining has yet to begin on the Nix site. Until <br />mining begins, the Nix property will remain in agricultural production. <br />In 2011 the operator anticipates amending the Nix DRM&S mining and reclamation <br />permit by permitting the Stage 2 Mining Area and revising the current reclamation plan. <br />Reclamation Report <br />As stated above, to date, no mining or reclamation has occurred on the Nix Sand <br />and Gravel Mine site. Because no new disturbances or reclamation occurred during the <br />previous year no map is included with this report.
