® 2.04.12 PRIME FARMLAND INVESTIGATION <br />(1) A letter dated August 15, 1990 to the applicant from Dean R. Stindt, <br />District Conservationist with the Soil Conservation Service, Norwood office, indicated that <br />no prime farmland exists in the mining area due to lack of adequate irrigation water <br />supplies. A copy of the letter is enclosed in Exhibit 8. <br />(2) The area to be disturbed by mining is not irrigated or naturally sub- <br />irrigated and it does not have a developed irrigation water supply that is dependable or of <br />adequate quality. <br />(3) The applicant requests a negative prime farmland determination <br />since the area meets at least one of the criteria for a negative determination listed in Rule <br />2.04.12(2). <br />2.04.13 ANNUAL RECLAMATION REPORT <br />(1) By February 15th of each year the Applicant will file, with the <br />Division, an annual reclamation report covering the previous calendar year for all areas <br />under bond.
