® 2.04.12 PRIME FARMLAND INVESTIGATION
(1) A letter dated August 15, 1990 to the applicant from Dean R. Stindt,
District Conservationist with the Soil Conservation Service, Norwood office, indicated that
no prime farmland exists in the mining area due to lack of adequate irrigation water
supplies. A copy of the letter is enclosed in Exhibit 8.
(2) The area to be disturbed by mining is not irrigated or naturally sub-
irrigated and it does not have a developed irrigation water supply that is dependable or of
adequate quality.
(3) The applicant requests a negative prime farmland determination
since the area meets at least one of the criteria for a negative determination listed in Rule
2.04.12(2).
2.04.13 ANNUAL RECLAMATION REPORT
(1) By February 15th of each year the Applicant will file, with the
Division, an annual reclamation report covering the previous calendar year for all areas
under bond. A discussion of weed management activities during the year will be included
in the report beginning with the 2009 annual reclamation report.
•
•
MR-10 2.04-33 8/09
A,oproved
.25."W46-2c09
