(Lafarge), I am writing to respond to theDivision of Reclamation, <br />Mining, and Safety (DRMS) letter sent to Lafarge on April 30; 2010 regarding mining operations <br />with exposed groundwater. The above referenced sites are already bonded for lining and/or, <br />backfilling. T 5th Avenue Pit is bonded to become a fined pit: The Sundance site is bonded for <br />two lined pits and one backfilled pit.. Therefore, it is our understanding that these sites are in <br />compliance with the requirements of the Colorado Land Reclamation Act for the Extraction of <br />Construction Materials and the Mineral Rules and Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board for the Extraction of Construction Materials.
