MANAGEMENT <br />05? <br />r <br />4"M <br />M?n• <br />On behalf of Bowie Resources, LLC, (BRL), enclosed is an application for a minor <br />revision to install six gob vent holes. They are numbered GVB-B1 1A, B11 B, B1 2A, <br />B12B, B12C & B13A. <br />Background <br />Gob vent holes are required over all longwall panels. The six gob vent holes will be <br />utilized for panels B11, B12 and B13. Next year additional gob vent holes will be <br />needed for panel B13. <br />Right of Entry <br />Right of entry is granted by BRL's Federal Coal lease subject to analysis of impacts by <br />the surface management agency. All of the gob vent holes are located on surface <br />owned by BRL. <br />Affected and Disturbed Area <br />There will be 8.1 acres of new disturbance. There will not be an increase in the <br />affected area. <br />Cultural Resources <br />See Volume VI, items 16 & 17. <br />Access <br />Access to the gob vent holes will be from the mine site, up Stevens Draw and down the <br />new Terror Creek access road to the Terror Creek Road.
