10. Basic Standards CWQCC regulation YES The Wadge overburden and the
(Interim Narrative 41.5.C.6 Twentymile Sandstone are the two
Standard) for Ground aquifers most likely to be affected
Water by mining. If the workings are
developed to the maximum extent
approved, the monitoring
locations of both formations will
be upgradiant from mine
workings. The following wells
serve as the Foidel Creek Mine's
ground water points of
compliance: 97013TM
(Twentymile Sandstone), 008-77-
58 (Wadge overburden), 008-AU3
(Fish Creek alluvium), 008-AT-1
(Trout Creek alluvium), and 008-
AV-2 (Foidel Creek alluvium.) The
mine's annual hydrology reports
contain long-term data from these
wells. These data show the Foidel
Creek mine is in compliance with
the Basic Standards for Ground
Water at the points of compliance.
11. Sampling frequency Exhibit 14 of CDRMS The report indicates all sampling
at surface water mining permit C-82-056 YES frequencies were met.
Based on the approved Table A in
Exhibit 14 of the C-82-056 mining
permit, the following
discrepancies were found in the
following tables for the 2010
Water Year:
Table 33, Site 800: Temperature
Jul and 2 weeks in Aug
12.
