We appreciated your
time and assistance in addressing this matter.
As a follow-up to our meeting, this letter is provided to the Division for its records with specific
regard to the status of the above-referenced permit and your acknowledgement that it is in
compliance with reclamation and bonding requirements for the following reason(s):
The Division holds a financial warranty for installation of a slurry wall that meets the
Division of Water Resources (DWR) requirements for preventing ground water exposure.
An application for a court approved water augmentation plan for exposed groundwater
has been filed under Case No. 2007CW1.98.
We would note that the Division previously released the reservoir area at Dahlia North following
DWR approval of the slurry wall; however, the associated bond reduction has not been processed.
It is our understanding that no further action is required of Al at this time; however, please advise
us if you have any questions or require additional information.
Very truly yours,
z,004z.r ;v- egae"l
Connie N.
