On behalf of McClane Canyon Mining, LLC, (MCM) the
following discussion is offered regarding the DWR's letter.
• MCM recognizes that if the stream system at the mine becomes over appropriated,
the storage and use of any surface or groundwater would be subject to
administration.
• If a sediment pond exposes groundwater it will backfilled immediately and
redesigned so no groundwater is exposed.
• MCM intends to apply for permits for the existing monitoring wells on site.
• The DWR notes that portions of McClane Creek are being temporarily diverted.
Construction and operation activities will not affect the flow in McClane Creek or any
other stream or ditch.
Sincerely,
/ J. toyer, P.E.
Consulting Engineer
cc: Mike Boulay - G.
