The ground was dry and clear of snow. <br /> The partial coal inspection entailed a Phase III bond release inspection(SL-06)with Janet Binns of DRMS,Danny <br /> Kipp and Don MacDonald of Coors Energy(CEC), and Mike Savage, a consultant working for CEC. <br /> RECLAMATION SUCCESS -Rule 4.15,Rule 3: <br /> Nine areas were viewed on foot: 2, 5,6, 7, 9, 10, 15, 16, and 19. In all areas,the vegetative cover is good, and no <br /> erosion was observed. Significant cheat grass was observed at all areas. The following provides specific <br /> information for each area. <br /> Area 2(1.95 acres)was seeded in 1998. Some perennial species are greening up, as is the cheat grass. <br /> Area 5 (2.63 acres)was seeded in 1999 and reseeded in 2002. Many perennial species were observed. The cheat <br /> grass was prevalent,but there was less than in neighboring area to south, which is native. A small thin patch was <br /> observed. <br /> Area 6(4.06 acres)was seeded in 2000 and reseeded in 2003. <br /> Area 7(1.6 acres)was seeded in 1987 and reseeded in 1998. Rodent burrow holes were observed. <br /> Area 9(14.73 acres)was seeded in 1999. <br /> Area 10(9.69 acres)was seeded in 1987 and reseeded in 1998.
