VIC, <br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br />1' `moors Energy Company, with a business. address P.O. Box 467, Golden Colorado 80402, <br />has applied to the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology for a renewal of its Permit <br />for continued reclamation operations at the Keenesburg Mine. Coors Energy Company <br />owns and is reclaiming the Keenesburg Mine under the current permit, No. C-1981-028. <br />The Keenesburg Mine is located 7 miles north of Keenesburg, and is accessed by Weld <br />County Road 59. The USGS 7.5 minute quadrangle maps, "Klug Ranch" and "Tampa" <br />contain the entire operation and a private access road. The current permitted area is in <br />portions of Sections 25 and 36, T3N-R64W, 6`s Prime Meridian, Weld County, Colorado. <br />Copies of the application may be viewed at the Town Hall in Keenesburg, Colorado, and <br />at the Division of Reclamation, Mining & Safety offices, 1313 Sherman Street, Room <br />215, Denver, Colorado 80203. Telephone 303 866-3567. <br />Anyone with an interest may submit written comments, objections, or a request for an <br />informal conference within 30 days. All comments, objections, and requests must be <br />submitted in writing to the Division of Reclamation, Mining & Safety, at the above <br />address.
