The bond release <br />application was found complete by this Division on April 19, 2011. Seneca Coal Company has <br />requested Phase II bond release on 628.6 acres where topsoil was replaced and vegetation reestablished <br />between 2001 and July 2007, following surface coal mining activities. The surface and mineral <br />ownership of the permit area is held by the state and federal governments and private parties. The <br />surface ownership is Federal, state and private, and the coal mined was Federal and private. <br />We will contact you to advise you of the Division's required bond release inspection of the site as soon <br />as it has been scheduled.
