Binns, Janet
From: Nettleton, Jerry [JNettleton@peabodyenergy.com]
Sent: Wednesday, April 20, 2011 10:02 AM
To: Binns, Janet
Cc: Berdine, Mike
Subject: Twentymile Coal, LLC - MR11-253
Janet -
I talked with Shena DuValle at SHPO, and you should receive their concurrence letter via e-mail today.
I have requested an increment in our self-bond (SB-008) to cover this and another revision, and am working with
Johanna. She will receive a signed "rider" from our corporate office via Fedex, and a separate signed "rider" from our
Corporate Agent. She should have both signed documents via morning Fedex tomorrow, and indicated that this
approach is acceptable.
I talked with Mike Berdine re: the County Access Permit, and he anticipates that they should be ready to approve later
today. County Road & Bridge, however, talked about making their approval contingent on us having the required State
approval, which creates a "Catch 22". If you could provide me with an e-mail stating that all requirements for the
CDRMS approval are in place except the County Access Permit approval, that may smooth the way for them to go ahead
and issue their approval. If we still run into a hitch with Road & Bridge, we will work through the County Commissioner's
Office.
Thanks for all your help -
Best regards,
Jerry
Jerry M.
