I have addressed those items for which we identified as concerns in the
February 25 letter. My comments are organized by Rule in a way that would allow for direct insertion
into a letter to Colowyo, if you so choose.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Rule 2.04.3 - General Requirements: Site Description and Land Use Information
2.04.3(3)-
1. Item Resolved.
2. Item Resolved.
3. It was not stated in the permit text whether the Collom expansion area has a mining history.
In Colowyo's response in the first adequacy review, it stated that "there has been no
organized mining activity in the Collom expansion area in recent history beyond
exploratory drilling activities." Please include this statement in the permit text which will
meet the requirements of Rule 2.04.3(3)(a-f).
Rule 2.04.10 - Vegetation Information
2.04.10
1
Office of Office of
Mined Land Reclamation Denver • Grand Junction • Durango Active and Inactive Mines
