RECEIVED
Eikermann Pit APR 14 ZQ11
M-2002-108 Division of Reclamation,
Mining & Safety
Technical Revision
Lincoln County with this "Technical Revision" for the Eikermann Pit is requesting that
Lincoln County be allowed to mine some of the pit area with high walls rather than mine
all slopes at 3:1 or flatter. Enough overburden is being developed in the mining process to
create the 3:1 or flatter slopes when the pit is worked out. During the reclamation of the
pit or when partial areas are reclaimed Lincoln County will slope the pit to 3:1 or flatter
(if possible.)
This Technical Revision also includes a revised map to delineate the areas of the affected
area with high walls. The revised map will also correct the materials that are in each of
the stockpiles (one or more of the stockpiles labeled topsoil are actually over burden.)
Included with this request is the Technical Revision Fee of $216.00.
