A hard copy follows via Fedex for your files.
The package should be complete except for required archaeological and wildlife clearances. We checked the site today,
and it is snow -free, so we have Metcalf Archaeology scheduled in tomorrow to complete the cultural resource survey,
and will provide their report on receipt (probably tomorrow or Monday). I will be in touch with Jim Haskins, the local
CDOW Manager tomorrow to obtain a letter addressing wildlife clearances. We have checked grouse lek locations, and
there are none close to the site. In addition, the proximity of the site to the County Road would generally preclude
grouse utilization.
After you have opportunity to review the accompanying materials, please feel free to contact me with any questions,
requests for additional materials, or to discuss. As noted in the cover letter and our phone conversation, the proposed
activities address critical safety and operational concerns, so your assistance in expediting review and approval would be
greatly appreciated. As always, we stand ready to cooperate and assist in any way —
Best regards,
Jerry
Jerry M. Nettleton
Environmental Manager
Twentymile Coal, LLC
-r..
