VEGETATION INFORMATION EXHIBIT J <br />Existing Plant Communities <br />See Map C-1 for vegetation communities. <br />Vegetation within the permit area consists of mostly very dry upland desert vegetation. in the <br />areas shown on Map C-1 there is a Pinion/Juniper tree community on the rocky slope that will <br />not be disturbed by mining. The upland desert vegetation has a native cover of less than 5%, <br />consisting of mostly bunch grasses, cactus and desert forbs. The pre mine land has very sparse <br />wildlife habitat. Cattle graze the property every year, but the cattle are fed daily with hay. <br />Craig Ranch Pit, March 2011 J-1
