Limited use stockpile area on <br /> steep slope <br /> 1 /t•s-PG1 f \ <br /> s <br /> r <br /> k f�, <br /> Development Waste <br /> The new development waste pile permitted under TR-53 is under construction. New and <br /> existing material, including pond cleanings, is being worked and re-graded. Outslopes along <br /> the east end of this new pile have been rough graded to the approximate design slope. <br /> Offsite Support Facilities <br /> Construction activities at the coal loadout, approved under PR-03, are underway. The operator <br /> should immediately implement the sediment control system around the perimeter of the <br /> disturbed area as per the approved design in Exhibit 40 of the permit. This 10.5 acre area is a <br /> small area exemption, with berms, ditches, and sumps the primary sediment control at the site. <br /> Construction of the loadout hopper was observed at the west end of the site with the approved <br /> area. The concrete retaining wall is complete but the wind screen atop this wall has yet to be <br /> installed. It is also apparent that an irrigation ditch and culvert run under the railroad grade to <br /> the pasture immediately south of the loadout permit area. This ditch was not recognized in the <br /> permitting of PR-03. <br /> 5 <br />
