General Topographic Setting: The project area is north of the Hillsberry and Williams Fork Mountains <br />and west of Twentymile Park. Coring operations will all be west of Grassy Creek. This is a north-flowing <br />tributary of the Yampa River. The western portion of the project area is generally open rolling grassland: <br />which have been revegetated during a Conservation Reserve Program (CRP). The eastern portion is it <br />terrain that is steeper and dissected by numerous ridges and drainages. This ridge is part of the Twentymile <br />Anticline.
