The purpose
of this submittal was for amending Climax's Reclamation Permit (M-1977-493). This delay was
requested until such time as necessary modifications to the application, identified after the original
submittal, could be developed and submitted.
• Accompanying this letter are five copies of the relevant changes referenced above which include
replacement pages and revised drawings. Climax has provided notice to the appropriate Boards of
County Commissioners and Soil Conservation Districts, posted appropriate notices at the mine site,
and has updated all public review copies of the application with these relevant changes. Once
Climax receives notice from the Division that the amended application is considered to be filed,
within 10 days Climax will proceed with the remaining public notice requirements.
If you have questions or comments, please don't hesitate to contact me at (719) 486-7718.
Sincerely,
Brian D.
