Project; with consumptive use credits associated with water rights represented by shares <br />of stock in the Jackson Lake Reservoir and Irrigation Company; with consumptive use <br />credits associated with historical irrigation use of a ground water right decreed to a well <br />included in the Upper Platte and Beaver Canal Company ("UPBCC") plan for <br />augmentation; and with surplus water recharge credits available by agreement from <br />UPBCC. <br />Change of Water Rights: Pinneo seeks approval of a change of the following water <br />rights: <br />A <br />Water Rights presented by Shares of Stock in the Jackson Lake Reservoir and <br />Irrigation Company <br />1) Prior adjudications: Jackson Lake Reservoir and Irrigation Company has the <br />following decrees for Jackson Lake Reservoir: <br />a) Civil Action No. 2142, Weld County District Court, entered January 5, 1914 <br />b) Civil Action No. 2142, Weld County District Court, entered May 11, 1915 <br />c) Civil Action No. 16704, Weld County District Court, entered June 8, 1965 <br />2) Legal description: The decreed location of the headgate of the Jackson Lake Inlet <br />Canal is at a point on the North bank of the South Platte River, 900 feet South and <br />200 feet West of the center of SETA of Section 18, Township 4 North, Range 61 <br />West, 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado. The decreed location of Jackson Lake <br />Reservoir is in all or portions of Sections 10, 13, 14, 15, 16, 21, 22, 23, 24, 26, <br />and 27, Township 5 North, Range 60 West, 6t' P.M., Morgan County, Colorado. <br />3) Source: South Platte River <br />4) Appropriation Date: <br />a) Civil Action No. 2142: May 18, 1901 <br />b) Civil Action No. 16704: December 31, 1929 <br />5) Amounts: <br />a) Civil Action No. 2142: 1,350 million cubic feet (30,992 acre-feet), absolute <br />b) Civil Action No. 2142: 202 million cubic feet (4,637 acre-feet), absolute <br />c) Civil Action No. 16704: 8,269.92 acre-feet, absolute (refill) <br />6) Decreed use of water: Storage of water for irrigation purposes <br />7) Description of Change: Pinneo seeks to add an alternate use for augmentation <br />and replacement purposes as described in more detail in Paragraph 10 below.
