Ron Thompson of
NECC was present during the records inspection. NECC has recently changed public liability
insurance and did not have a copy of the insurance certificate available. A valid certificate of
insurance in the amount of$4 million for each occurrence was received via email on April 5,
2011 at the Division office. This certificate replaced the previous insurance effective September
23, 2010 and expires September 23, 2011. All other records were found in compliance as
detailed on page 2a of this report.
Signs and Markers
The 1.2 acre site is well marked with regard to the mine identification sign and disturbed area
markers and in compliance with Rule 4.02.
Revegetation
Dry conditions have prevailed over the region so far this year in the late winter and early spring.
Grasses and forbs are starting to grow but growth is limited at this time due to the lack of
meaningful precipitation.
