INTEROFFICE MEMORANDUM
TO: ROB ZUBER
FROM: JANETBINNS
SUBJECT: TRAPPER NE TR 08; 010 REVIEW
DATE: 4/4/11
I have reviewed Trappers TR108 for adequacy. This revision provides updates to the
Trapper permit as the Annual Reclamation Report. The application fulfills the
requirements of Rule 2.04.13. Missing from the application is any discussion of weed
control and management, or a discussion of reclamation of the development drill holes
and associated pads and light use roads. (2.04.13(1)(e))
1. Trapper historically has implemented a comprehensive weed management plan.
Please have the operator provide a discussion of weed control measures
implement during 2010. They should include a description of the measures
employed; e.g. spray truck, four-.wheeler, backpack sprayers, etc. They should
include chemical used and what noxious weed species are being controlled. A
sketch or description of where weed control measures were employed should also
be included. Inclusion of this information in the Annual Reclamation Report is
helpful to the operator during bond release reviews
2. The operator reported that 22 development drill holes were constructed in 2010.
Of these, two will be mined through, so do not require reclamation. The
remaining 20 holes are located near the eastern permit boundary, and require
regrading and seeding. Were these holes sealed? Were the pads regraded and
seeded? If these holes have been sealed and reclaimed, the operator needs to
provide drill holes abandonment reports. Please have the operator show these
drill hole locations on the ARR map, include the area associated with the
reclamation of these holes, and state which seed mix was used to reclaim the pads.
