All issues appear to have been addressed to meet the
requirements of the Act and Rules. Therefore, the Division is please to inform Environmental
Alternatives and Mr. Treat that the Conversion, CN-01, is approved.
The conversion from a 110c to a 112c permit was necessary due to a Mined Land Reclamation
Board order MV-2010-021. The order notes that the conversion must be approved no later
than March 15, 2011. The current reclamation warranty of $31,000.00 held by the Division has
been determined to be adequate for current site conditions. With this approval, and the
payment of the civil penalty, the conditions of the Order are met. Therefore the cease and
desist order is lifted and the permit holder may resume active mining per the approved plans.
If you need additional information please contact me at the Division of Reclamation, Mining
and Safety, Grand Junction Field Office, 101 S. 3rd St., Suite 301, Grand Junction, Colorado
81501, or by telephone no. 970.241.1117.
Sincerely,
p?
?-J<
G.
