SUBJECT: 2007-2009 AHR Review - Colowyo Responses

On 22 June 2010 the Division sent written comments to the Colowyo Mine regarding its
review of the 2007, 2008 and 2009 Annual Hydrology Reports. In the comments the
Division found several errors regarding sampling dates for wells at the mine. Colowyo
has corrected these dates and resubmitted the page in question.
The Division also included two comments for additional detail regarding spoil springs
and a discussion of how the current water monitoring either confirms or refutes the
current probable hydrologic consequences at the Colowyo Mine. These two items were
to start with the submittal of the 2010 AHR.
Based on the Division's review of Colowyo's responses, the Division considers the 2007,
2008 and 2009 AHR's to be completed.
