Connell Resources Timnath Pit <br />Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures Plan <br />Revision Date: June 25, 2009 <br />Conformance with Applicable Requirements [112.70)] <br />Page 14-1 <br />Section 14.0 QUALIFIED OIL-FILLED OPERATIONAL EQUIPMENT [112.7(K)] <br />14.1 Qualification Criteria - Reportable Discharge History [112.7(k)(1)] <br />Connell Timnath Pit had a release of diesel fuel from Tank 1 for the diesel generator. The <br />release took place in February 2008 when a line leaked. The leak released a undetermined <br />amound of diesel fuel to the site stormwater conveyance system, and to the site detention <br />pond. The spill was contained within the detention pond. A No Further Action Letter was <br />issued by the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment Division of Oil and Public <br />Safety in August 2008. <br />14.2 Alternative Requirements to General Secondary Containment [112.7(k)(2)] <br />The Connell Resources Timnath Pit facility does not have alternative requirements to <br />general secondary containmen as secondary containment for qualified oil-filled operational <br />equipment.
