The perimeter
fence has been cut at the NE corner of the site. In effort to halt entrance of vehicles, on March 17, 2011,
an open ditch with its earth berm was installed across the points of unauthorized ingress/egress (west and
east boundaries). The short ditch and berm barriers will not impair drainage and will have much less
impact on the reclaimed areas than encroaching vehicles.
The trash that had been dumped by trespassers in the dry bottom of Pond #I was removed and
disposed of. The small wash (12" x 18" x 12") located adjacent to the R-R track and the east side of the
county road was excavated, inspected, backfilled and compacted back in place. No subsidence or foreign
objects were observed. Also, the small silt fence located adjacent to the county road was removed.
Photos of the above activities on the site are enclosed.
If you have questions or require further information, please contact me.
Sincerely,
e? g??
G Igge Patterson
General Mine Mgr
Energy Fuels Coal, Inc
