West. Well PWI is the proposed injection well. Wells MM 1, MU 1, and MUUI are the nearest <br />wells to PWI intersecting the A2 sandstone. The green line is the measurement of gamma <br />radiation with depth along the well bore. The location of the uranium ore bodies corresponds to <br />the high gamma values. The high gamma line does not extend through the entire thickness of the <br />A2, therefore, it can be concluded that the uranium ore body does not extend through the entire <br />thickness of the A2 sandstone. There may be some slight variation in water quality within the <br />A2 sandstone in the I- to 5-foot intervals above and below the uranium ore body. However, it is <br />not possible to collect samples from discreet vertical (e.g., 1 foot) intervals within the A2 <br />sandstone to analyze for variation in water quality, because there are no confining zones to <br />vertically isolate the water within the ore body from the water above and below it. <br />Page 1 I of 24
