The consumptive use and lagged stream depletions from each site are summarized in the attached Division 1 Water Accounting Summary. For purposes of this SWSP, if the distance from the surface of the exposed ground water area to the river was measured based on the down gradient extent of the exposed ground water surface (nearest point), the method used to measure the distance to estimate the lagged depletions will be accepted, however any future SWSP must measure the distance from the exposed ground water surface area to the river based on the centroid of the exposed ground water surface. Replacements Upper Poudre River There are no active mining sites in the Upper Poudre River reach that are included in this SWSP therefore, no replacement water is needed. The two shares of the Little Cache La Poudre Ditch and the 25 Colorado-Big Thompson Project units previously used in this plan are being removed as they were associated with the Stegner Pit. Also, Aggregate is not proposing to use fully consumable water leased from the Tri-Districts or the City of Fort Collins in this plan since the replacement water is not required. However, Aggregate may use these sources in future plans should a site in the Upper Poudre River reach become active. Using a Blaney-Criddle analysis the potential crop consumptive use for the 65 acres was determined to be 96.8 acre-feet. Assuming a 10% ditch loss and 55% farm efficiency the dry year consumptive use was determined to be 64.3 acre-feet.
