Logan Wash Mine Annual Report
Permit No.: M-1977-424
Specific reclamation maintenance activities expected to be conducted during 2011 will focus on
maintenance of existing planted native shrubs on the Upper and Lower Mine Dump slopes. If
determined necessary, maintenance may include irrigation, installation of irrigation supplements,
plant replacement, terrace and pocket material removal, fertilizing, and mulching where
necessary. Evaporation Pond maintenance will be conducted as needed. Roads not reclaimed will
be maintained.
7.0 Anticipated Disturbance in the Year 2011
No new disturbance is anticipated to occur in 2011 within the mine permit area associated with
OOSI mine permit activities. However, OOSI may be exploring options to discharge non-retort
mine water from the L-1 portal other than in Dry Gulch which is the current discharge point for
the CDPS permit. Discharge of the mine water off-channel may be an option and could involve
surface disturbance within already permitted disturbed areas on the Lower Mine Bench. This
activity may also include the installation or deepening of a compliance well in the vicinity of Dry
Gulch.
Western Water & Land, Inc. 7
