Soil is classified as a sandy loam and has the following approximate composition: <br />.: Total Sand = 56% Total Silt = 29.5% Total Clay = 14.5% Total Organic Matter = 0.84% <br />Soil was added in layers and uniformly compacted to approximately 90% of standard proctor density. <br />Velocity measurements were made using a Montedero- Whitney Electromagnetic Velocity Probe, <br />which has a full scale range of 0 -20 FPS, with an accuracy of +/- 0.01 FPS. <br />
