The
2009 ARR was received on March 19, 2010 and the 2010 ARR was received on March 09, 2011 and
contains information on revegetation, weed control and wildlife monitoring. The reports were filed in a
timely manner, and were thorough and comprehensive.
The Division has the following comments and questions as a result of the review.
1. 2009 ARR tables 09.5 and 09.3 do not match the seed tags submitted. Specifically,
Mountain Snowberry is missing from the interseed seed tag and Woods Rose is missing
from the drainage/riparian seed tag. Please verify why these seeds are not listed on the
seed tags and how they deviate from the approved seed mixes outlined in the permit.
2. The P.L.S. drill rates on the seed tags do not match the approved P.L.S. drill rates in
Tables 09.3, 09.5 and 09.2. Please explain the differences between the approved drill
rates in the permit versus the drill rates listed in the seed tags.
If you have additional comments or questions, please feel free to call me.
Sincerely,
Stephanie Reigh
C: Sandy Brown
Susan Burgmaier
Office of Office of
Mined Land Reclamation Denver Grand Junction • Durango Active and Inactive Mines
