NOXIOUS WEED MANAGEMENT PLAN
January 10, 2011
In accordance with Section 3.1.10 (6) of the rule O & A Stone Company has
adopted the following Noxious Weed Management Plan:
It has been determined that the property located at 3587 Stone Canyon Drive in
Lyons, CO does contain Diffuse Knapweed, Common Mullein and possible Musk
Thistle.
O & A Stone will initiate a spraying campaign in early to late spring prior to the
commencement of the weeds going to seed. This will be followed with another
spaying towards the end of summer.
The property located at 3587 Stone Canyon Road Lyons, CO will be monitored
monthly for noxious weeds by O & A Stone.
O & A Stone will also initiate the following post treatment monitoring plan: After
spraying has occurred, O & A Stone will monitor the effectiveness of the spraying
campaign with visual inspection. Based on the recommendations of the spray used,
O & A Stone will monitor the effectiveness of the spraying according to the time
recommendations of the product.
If O & A Stone's efforts fail to satisfactorily eliminate the above listed noxious
weeds, the Boulder County Weed Manager, Steve Sauer will be contacted and
brought in to assess all possible solutions including hiring an outside weed
management contractor.
O & A Stone makes the commitment that the above weed management plan will be
implemented for the life of the permit.
