<br />DRMS has completed a preliminary adequacy review of the application for Permit Renewal RN-06.
<br />Comments 1 through 30, below, identify differences between information in the permit application,
<br />compared to information currently contained in OSM's Applicant Violator System (AVS). Please either
<br />update the permit application pages with current information, or provide OSM with the current
<br />information and request that they update the AVS.
<br />Mountain Coal Company, LLC
<br />1. In AVS, Jon S. Ploetz is listed as Secretary with a beginning date of February 15, 2010. He is not
<br />listed in the permit application package.
<br />2. In AVS, Gregory A. Billhartz is shown as terminated as Secretary, effective October 9, 2009. He is
<br />listed as a current secretary in the permit application package.
<br />Arch Coal, Inc
<br />3. In AVS, Frank Burke is shown as terminated on July 24, 2010, but he is still shown as Director,
<br />beginning September 9, 2000, in the permit application package.
<br />4. In AVS, Michael T. Abbene is shown as terminated on July 31, 2009 but he is still shown as Vice
<br />President and Chief information officer, beginning on July 1, 2005, in the permit application
<br />r?
<br />5. In AVS, Allen Kelley is shown in AVS as terminated on November 17, 2008, but he is still shown as
<br />Internal Auditor officer, beginning on March 15, 2005, in the permit application package.
<br />6. In AVS, Robert W. Shanks is not listed for Arch Coal, Inc, but he is still shown as Vice President,
<br />beginning July 1, 1997, in the permit application package.
<br />7. In AVS, Robert Messey is not listed for Arch Coal, Inc, but he is still shown as Senior Vice President
<br />and Chief Financial Officer in the permit application package, beginning on December 1, 2000.
<br />8. In AVS, John T. Drexler is listed as Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer, beginning May
<br />1, 2008. He is not listed as an officer in the permit application package.
<br />9. In AVS, Casey Warner is listed, with a beginning date of April 23, 2009, as Corporate Officer. He is
<br />not listed as an officer in the permit application package.
