Box 2526 Director <br />Longmont, CO 80501 <br />RE: Vasquez Quarry No. 2; DRMS File No. M-1994-121; Technical Revision - 01 Adequacy <br />Review <br />Dear Mr. Vasquez, <br />The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (Division) received your Technical Revision - <br />01 for the Vasquez Quarry No. 2, File No. M-1994-121. The application was received on May <br />March 1, 2011. The Decision date for this application is March 30, 2011. Please be advised that <br />if you are unable to satisfactorily address any concerns identified in this review before the <br />decision date, it will be your responsibility to request an extension of the review period. If <br />there are outstanding issues that have not been adequately addressed prior to the end of <br />the review period, and no extension has been requested, the Division will deny this <br />Technical Revision. <br />In general the Technical Revision was substantially adequate; however, there are a few items that <br />will require the submittal of additional information or clarification of the existing information. <br />Inadequacies are identified under the respective exhibit heading along with suggested actions to <br />correct them. <br />3.1.10 Revegetation - <br />1. The Division has reviewed the Noxious Weed Management Plan and requests the- pplicant <br />submit the following information: <br />a) Specify how often the operator will monitor the site for noxious weeds (monthly, bi- <br />monthly etc.). <br />b) Provide a post treatment monitoring plan to determine control effectiveness. <br />c) A commitment that the weed control plan will be implemented for the life of the permit. <br />Office of Office of <br />Mined Land Reclamation Denver Grand Junction Durango Active and Inactive Mines
