Review
Dear Mr. Vasquez,
The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (Division) received your Technical Revision -
01 for the Vasquez Quarry No. 2, File No. M-1994-121. The application was received on May
March 1, 2011. The Decision date for this application is March 30, 2011. Please be advised that
if you are unable to satisfactorily address any concerns identified in this review before the
decision date, it will be your responsibility to request an extension of the review period. If
there are outstanding issues that have not been adequately addressed prior to the end of
the review period, and no extension has been requested, the Division will deny this
Technical Revision.
In general the Technical Revision was substantially adequate; however, there are a few items that
will require the submittal of additional information or clarification of the existing information.
Inadequacies are identified under the respective exhibit heading along with suggested actions to
correct them.
3.1.10 Revegetation -
1. The Division has reviewed the Noxious Weed Management Plan and requests the- pplicant
submit the following information:
a) Specify how often the operator will monitor the site for noxious weeds (monthly, bi-
monthly etc.).
b) Provide a post treatment monitoring plan to determine control effectiveness.
c) A commitment that the weed control plan will be implemented for the life of the permit.
