Pineda <br />Director <br />Attached is the reclamation cost estimate for the Seneca II-W Mine's Partial Phase I <br />Bond Release SL-03. This estimate represents the releasable amount for SL-03, which is <br />$2,228,190.00. This estimate takes into account the Pond 016 slide area and the <br />exclusion of post-mining drainage channels PM-2D and PM-4D. <br />The Division has previously released $2,038,488.00 with the approval of SL-02. With <br />the addition of the proposed release amount of $2,228,190.00 for SL-03, the Division will <br />have released a total Phase I amount of $4,266,678.00. The original applicable bond <br />amount prior to the approval of SL-02 was $11,117,348.00. With the approval of SL-03, <br />the Division will release 38.4% of the Seneca II-W Bond. This amount is below the <br />maximum allowable amount of 60%, pursuant to Rule 3.03.1(2)(a). <br />Following the approval of SL-03, the Division will hold a bond in the amount of <br />$6,850,670.00. The remaining liability at the Seneca II-W Mine will be $6,677,879.00. <br />The Division will hold an excess of bond in the amount of $172,791.00.
